Abstract
802.11n is an emerging industry standard for high-speed Wi-Fi networking. 802.11n is designed to replace the 802.11a, 802.11b and 802.11g Wi-Fi standards for local area networking. 802.11n offers a higher bandwidth. It also assures both higher data rates and increased reliability. 802.11n offers somewhat better range over earlier Wi-Fi standards due to its increased signal intensity. 802.11n equipment will be backward compatible with 802.11g.
